So I've been following Elle Fowler for quite some time now, and I have to say....the hate comments about her are just ridiculous. These people really have nothing better to do than to bash these girls? If you don't like them, don't watch them. It's not like they're forcing you to watch. You watch because you want to.
Who cares if Elle got her nose done...whether she did or not, why is that a bad thing? Everyone has insecurities, and if plastic surgery makes them feel less insecure, great! If you look good, you feel good. It just doesn't make sense, and it's none of your business either. Elle is beautiful regardless.
Blah blah..."Elle isn't even her real name" - So?! Many artists don't use their real name, and instead use a stage name. Do you bash Lady Gaga because she doesn't use her real name? Sometimes it's nice to not have your real name blasted out on the Internet, for safety reasons. Elle's real name is Lisa...which starts with an "L" so maybe that's just what her friends called her, so it stuck. Before you know the whole story, don't assume the worst. Most of you think she's being sneaky, or not all that truthful...but do you watch her or follow her to be her best friend? No!
I've seen rumors that they get paid to promote certain products in their videos. Just like any other commercial you see with a celebrity, they are endorsing a product. Just because they do, doesn't mean it's the best product in the world. You have a choice as to whether or not you want to go out and buy that product, and that's the great part about life - YOU HAVE A CHOICE. Elle and Blair have even stated in their videos that when they receive a new product to try they use it several times to see if they would continue using it, but are posting the video to share with us about their initial experience; they have creative freedom.
I think it's great that Elle and Blair do their videos in their bedroom. It just makes it that much more personable than being in front of a backdrop or scene. Some of you think it's unprofessional, but it just allows us to feel closer to them.
The jealousy is what leads to all the hate comments. You're envious and WISH that you were as successful as Elle. You know when you're finally successful when you have haters wishing the worst upon you and always trying to put you down. It takes a lot to ignore it all and continue doing what you love, and I commend Elle on that!
So stop all the hating and appreciate a girl just trying to share her tips with the world. If you don't like it, don't watch!

ReplyDeleteI love Elle... she seems so genuine and just all around sweet!! I don't get why people have to nit-pick to find things to put her down with. So what, she has a pulicist? Does that discredit her in some way? That just means she's doing all the right things
ReplyDeletebut elle never makes a video about stuff she doesn't like. yeah, i know elle has her "i don't like it!" videos, but she's only done 2 and she paid for those too. just once i would like to see a company give her a free product and she says, "i don't like it!" and make a video about it. i know a lot of beauty gurus suffer from this so i'm not pinpointing it on elle. i have nothing against her, and i'm certainly not jealous of her, but i just wanted to point that out.
ReplyDeleteand also, some people want to just voice their opinoins whether they're positive or not. there's really nothing anyone can do about it. if people feel like they have to say something, they'll say it. they won't see it as "wasting their time" if it's something they truly believe in.
and about her having a publicist...i think it's great! however, i understand why some viewers think that they want to have publicists just to become famous.
i'm not a hater, i promise, i'm just being the "devil's advocate" you could say.
The thing is.. if a company takes the time to send out a product, why would you do something like that? I totally support that they don't. They have mentioned in the past, I believe, that they get sent a lot of stuff so if there was a product not worth mentioning, why would she let her viewers no?

Actually, I believe it was Blair who supposedly got a nose job. Also, why do you focus so much on Elle? No offense to her, but I prefer Blair who seems much more real and fresh. All in all, I LOVE Elle and Blair!! I couldn't care less if her real name was Lisa, or if she's paid to say some products are great. I just love Elle and Blair and I'm so proud of how they've made a name for themselves.

Anyways all and all I agree if you like it dont watch. There amazing and just living life maybe they get paid for it who cares.
